Since 1971, state association agents, leaders, and executives from across the Southeast have gathered in Atlanta’s Buckhead for the annual Southern Agents Conference (SAC) Workshop. This premier event offers a dynamic platform for networking, idea-sharing, and collaboration among Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) associations representing 15 states.

SAC serves as a vital forum for addressing shared challenges, celebrating successes, and voicing collective concerns to national industry organizations. Through small-group discussions and interactive sessions, attendees work together to develop solutions that strengthen the independent insurance industry.

Each year, the SAC Workshop attracts over 250 agents, colleagues, and their families, making it a cornerstone event for professional growth, industry insight, and lasting connections within the insurance community.


Working together to advance the independent agency system throughout the Southeast.


2025 SAC Breakout Groups:

State Officers, National Directors, State Execs, Young Agents, Association Products/Services & Education, Commercial Lines, Legislative Affairs, Personal Lines, and Technology. 

Company, Broker and Vendor colleagues are invited to participate—both sponsors and as active contributors to the many lively discussions which are the heart of the Workshop.
